City API | prefix : /city

• Current version: v1
• City name
  • Resource : /name/{name}
  • Returns : A list of cities with names matching the parameter
  • Parameters :
    • name
      • type : string
      • condition : lowercase only
  • Example:
    kiderul-api.startlap.hu/v1/city/name/bud
    Returns: a list of cities whose names contain the word "bud" along with their coordinates
• City coordinates
  • Resource : /{lat}/{lon}
  • Returns : Returns forecast data for the city closest to the requested coordinates
  • Parameters :
    • lat
      • type : floating point
      • condition : floating point only, integers won't work
    • lon
      • type : floating point
      • condition : floating point only, integers won't work
  • Example:
    kiderul-api.startlap.hu/v1/city/48.23123/19.324123
    Returns: data belonging to the closest city to the given coordinates
    Response contains: Current weather, eight day forecast, detailed forecast for the first three days
• City by exact name
  • Resource : /{name}
  • Returns : Returns forecast data for the requested city
  • Parameters :
    • lat
      • type : string
      • condition : lowercase, must match city name - eg.: accents
  • Example:
    kiderul-api.startlap.hu/v1/city/budapest
    Returns: data belonging to the requested city
    Response contains: Current weather, eight day forecast, detailed forecast for the first three days
